Stillwater Apothecary Tallow All-Purpose Balm begins with grass-fed beef tallow and olive oil, a traditional combination chosen for its rich, uncomplicated feel on dry skin. Fractionated coconut oil improves the balm’s glide, while beeswax gives it a firm, protective structure without the loose oiliness of a basic tallow balm.

The concentrated, waterless formula softens readily beneath the fingers and spreads into a smooth layer over hands, cuticles, elbows, knees, heels and other areas that need extra conditioning. There is no water, whipped-in air or elaborate collection of secondary ingredients—just a short, purposeful formula designed to be used sparingly wherever skin feels dry or exposed.

Available unscented or lightly scented with one of our pure essential-oil blends.

Instructions & Applications

  • Tend to Dry Areas | Massage a small amount into hands, elbows, knees, heels, or other areas that need added moisture.
  • Seal in Moisture | Warm a small amount between the hands and massage it into clean skin, ideally while the skin is still slightly damp.

Storage & Care

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
  • Close the container securely after each use to protect the product from moisture, debris, and unnecessary exposure to air.
  • Natural balms may soften or melt in warm conditions. Store away from direct sunlight, hot vehicles, radiators, and other sources of excessive heat.
  • If the balm softens or melts, place it in a cool location until firm. Temperature changes may alter the texture or appearance without necessarily preventing normal use.
  • Use clean, dry hands or a dry utensil and avoid introducing water into the container.

Use with Caution

  • For external use only. Do not ingest.
  • Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Patch test before broader use, particularly if you have sensitive skin.
  • Discontinue use if irritation or discomfort occurs.
